About Us
Hello there! I'm Erik, the founder of LevelUp Computers & Technology. In 2013, when I was 10, I performed my first repair on an old netbook of mine. Over the years, my mom's co-workers were informed of my skills, and they came to me for help. Within the first hour or so of them arriving at my house, I had repaired them. I was in high school at this point, and I chose to attend a technical school for half of my school day, in order to hone my skills. Within my first year in the course, during my junior year, I earned my CompTIA A+ and IT Fundamentals certifications. With the support of my friends, my family, and my teachers, I opened up LevelUp Computers & Technology to the public in 2018. My goal is to provide you affordable computer services performed with the highest standards of care. With all that said, I look forward to assisting you with any technology-related problems you may have.
Meet The Team
Erik Jacob
CEO/President
Born in August of 2002, Erik Jacob, a high school senior, opened LevelUp Computers & Technology to the public in 2017. When he isn't assisting others with computers, he is gaming, tinkering with tech, playing with his animals, or as of recently, 3d printing mask parts for essential workers during the CoViD-19 Pandemic as part of the Carroll County Makers. Living on a farm, he has quite a few animals, including 3 dogs, 2 cats, 2 potbelly pigs, 3 horses, 4 goats, 17 chickens, 4 parakeets, and 15+ rabbits. At his school, he was president of the Gaming Club, and one of the AV managers for the boys' varsity basketball team. He strives to provide quality service to anyone with a technology-related problem. He graduated from Marriotts Ridge High School in June of 2020 and left the Applications & Research Laboratory's PC Systems pathway with his IT Fundamentals and A+ Certifications. He is currently attending Frostburg State University as a freshman, pursuing a Bachelor's of Business Administration with a concentration in Small Business/Entrepreneurship, and a minor in Computer Information Systems.

Married for 25 years, she is the proud mom of two young men. Her son, Erik, is the owner of LevelUp Computers & Technology, and she has supported him along his journey. Now, she is part of his team, assisting him in growing his business and guiding him along the way to ensure he stays true to his passion. As an animal lover from a very young age, her first job at 14 helped her support a slightly feral pony. Since then, she has been involved in showing horses, rabbits, and most recently, 2 lovely Irish Setters. For over 20 years, she did bookkeeping, and as of 2010, did a mid-life switch to special education.

Affordability: We get it; you've got to budget your money, and you don't want to spend too much on repairs, especially with everything that's going on in the world. that's why we're committed to providing you with quality service at affordable prices.
Transparency: Picture this: You go to the big box electronics store with the repair department, and you need your computer fixed ASAP. They take it to the back, and you don't get any updates for about a week. We don't do that. We will inform you of the status of your repair. We make sure to run everything by you for approval. We will tell you if something goes wrong. After all, it's the right thing to do.
